The 2020 RAV4’s multimedia setup is complemented by an available JBL audio system with 9 speakers (Limited models), Clari-Fi technology, and Sirius XM. Enhancing onboard multimedia features, RAV4 can be had with up to five USB ports between the front and rear rows and an available Qi wireless charging tray positioned at the front of the center console.

Active Torque All Wheel Drive

RAV4 AWD LE and AWD XLE feature an active torque all wheel drive system that shifts from front wheel drive to all wheel drive as soon as the system senses wheel slippage. You save on fuel when the going is good, and get enhanced traction the moment you need it. Seamlessly and automatically.

Dynamic Torque Vectoring All Wheel Drive

RAV4 Trail and Limited (gas only) feature Dynamic Torque Vectoring All Wheel Drive with Rear Driveline Disconnect. A Toyota first, the system can send up to 50% of engine torque to the rear wheels, plus distribute it to the left or right rear wheel for exceptional control. When it isn’t needed, the system ingeniously transmits all driving force to the front wheels -- reducing energy loss, improving fuel efficiency, and smoothing out the ride.

Multi-Terrain Select

Answer the call of the wild. Multi-Terrain Select takes RAV4’s highly evolved four-wheel drive performance to a new level. The system allows you to select from four modes then regulates wheel spin accordingly to give you maximum traction on the most challenging terrain -- including mud, sand, rocks, and dirt. Standard on all AWD gas models.
